A while ago whilst surfing my news feeds a local topic from the bendigo advertiser caught my eye! "BUY LOCAL" it said, being a local bendigo business my freelance webdesign & development services could use a kick in the behind was my thoughts. I read the article and thought you know what? i've been posting this type of stuff on my "SHOWME" Bendigo network for like ever. BUY LOCAL is something all local business should do, i mean i do it as an unconscious habit anyhow.
A few months later here we are, im now signed up and hopefully going to be one of the features? Lets wait and see. I encourage all local business owners to do the same thing if you aren't already? Get into it, get on the bus or what ever you like to call it. My saying for a longtime now is this....
"We as bendigo business owners are all in a similar situation, 90% of the time if you buy or choose local the person your buying from has the same issues/goals as you do. It's probably a perfect world though to some? but we can pull through this economic climate as a group, a lot easier than we can as one."
