Well today GO-share the free photo album image gallery hosting website announced they have now included a number of great social network features straight into their website photo albums, for all members this is great news. Not only do the new features allow you to grab more attention but you can also get links back to your photos with ease by simple social share buttons, they have been doing some great work over their albums but the 2 biggest features i will talk quickly about are the Facebook & Twitter inclusions.
Firstly the "post to facebook wall" button allows all gallery viewers to instantly share an image they are viewing to their facebook wall for their friends and family to also enjoy. This is a great idea, everyone see's an image they like and says "Wow id love to show that to ????" So this new option is now their in every photo album and will give endless praise to GO-Share by its users.
Secondly the @ commands is a members only tool, you need to be logged in for it to show up, this isn't a bad thing and actually gives members a sense of appreciation by having this reserved for them. What this entails is an addition to users commenting control by adding twitters @ commnds to intergrate to your comments, this feature is triggered by adding your comments like so: "hi nice images here, i'd really like you to see some of my images you can follow me @bendig0 or see me @twitter"
What this would do would be kick the @bendigo & @twitter words to links which popup a twitter control linking to the users profile & follow me information.
